Will Make Any Sacrifice, But Won’t Let Sidhu Become Punjab CM: Amarinder Singh

He said Gandhi siblings are inexperienced & their advisors are misguiding them

Mumbai: Ahead of the 2022 Assembly polls, former Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh has said he would make any sacrifice, but won’t let Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu become the state CM

Media advisor to Captain Amarinder Singh, Mr Raveen Thukral tweeted and shared that the captain is ready to sacrifice to stop Sidhu in the upcoming assembly elections.

“Ready to make any sacrifice to stop Sidhu from becoming Punjab CM. Will pit a strong person against him to ensure his defeat in the 2022 Assembly polls. If Navjot Sidhu is CM face, then big thing if congress touches double digits,” the tweet said.

He also added that it will be a huge task for the congress to touch double digits in the polls if Sidhu behaves like a Super CM.

“If Navjyot Singh Sidhu behaves as super CM, Congress won’t function. Under this drama master’s leadership, it would be a big thing if INC manages to touch double digits in Punjab polls’

He further said that he was hurt by the way things went between him and congress. He also called the Gandhi siblings inexperienced and lost in misguides.

“Priyanka & Rahul are like my children; this should not have ended like this. I’m hurt. Fact is the Gandhi siblings are inexperienced & their advisors are clearly misguiding them,” the captain said.

Last week, Captain Amarinder Singh had resigned from his post as the Chief Minister of Punjab. Following which Charanjit Singh Channi was made the New CM for the left short span.

Assembly elections are to be held later in February and March next year in Punjab.
