Will Not Tolerate Any Ministers Absence At Parliament Sessions, PM Modi Seeks Daily Report Of Absentees

Mumbai: Prime Narendra Modi expressed his disappointment over Ministers not turning up for roster duty in the Parliament.

It comes at the parliamentary meeting of the Home Minister, Amit Shah and other senior party leaders in the Parliament, held at the Parliament Library Building, the PM made it clear that the ministers have to draw their socks and ensure that they are present when the Parliament Necessary in both the houses. PM Modi told Parliament Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Prahlad Joshi that he wants a daily report of people wor are absent until the evening. At the meeting, the PM clarified that he meant business and all the MPs and ministers would have to make every effort to ensure that the work was early.

The PM said that he should get informed about those ministers who have not followed the roster and have left the parliament. When Parliament session is over, Parliamentary Affairs Ministers set the roster of ministers, who tell them that when they need to be present in any House of Parliament necessary to answer the questions presented by the ministers.

PM Modi also had a word of advice for BJP MPs. He asked them to take an active interest in all government schemes and programs. PM Modi also asked them to be in close contact with voters to participate in social outreach programs. He also advised them to be very regular in the Parliament.

Modi 2.0 government is seeking to accelerate the development agenda after getting a huge mandate in the Lok Sabha elections. Earlier in the meeting of a party, the PM had made it clear that he would not tolerate breaking the party’s discipline with anyone, even if the person is related to whom.

It was widely taken as a commentary directed by Kailash Vijayvargiya’s son, Akash Vijayvargiya, who beat a civilian officer along with the cricket bat in Indore.

Presently, the Monsoon Session of Parliament is going on and the government is pushing for major bills in both Houses of Parliament.
