Mumbai: In a huge surprise for Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis took oath as CM of Maharashtra whereas NCP’s Ajit Pawar as deputy CM.

While addressing the rally here in Mumbai, Devendra Fadnavis said that “We will provide a stable government. Modi hai toh mumkin hai!!”

“We will give a stable government with Ajit’s support, says Fadnavis at a victory rally,” he added.

Meanwhile, Deputy CM Ajit Pawar is holding a meeting with NCP MP Sunil Tatkare and NCP MLAs Dilip Walse Patil and Hasan Mushrif at his brother Sriniwas Pawar’s residence; Security has been heightened outside the residence of Sriniwas Pawar.

The move came at a time when discussions between Congress, NCP, and Shiv Sena reached the final stage on Friday.

Earlier, NCP supremo Sharad Pawar had claimed that there was consensus on Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray as the Chief Minister of the coalition government.
