With 138 New COVID19 Cases, Andhra Pradesh Tally Reaches To 4,250

Mumbai: With more and more people coming to the state from different parts of the country and abroad, Andhra Pradesh is witnessing a spurt in coronavirus cases as a total of 4,250 climbed on Friday, while 138 were added in the last 24 hours.

Of the latest cases, 84 came from other states and four from abroad, the latest Health Department bulletin said.

So far 73 people have died in the state.

In the state, 4,23,564 coronavirus tests were conducted so far and the positivity rate was one percent.

Out of 4,250 positive cases, 700 were from other states and 123 were from foreign returners.

In all, 2,556 patients were recovered and discharged, with 258 from other states and four overseas returns, with 1,621 active cases.

The bulletin states that in Krishna district, two persons died due to COVID19 in the last 24 hours and the toll was taken in the state.
