With 149 New Case Karnataka Tally Reaches 1,395
Mumbai: The state health department said in a bulletin on Tuesday that 149 new COVID-19 cases have been reported in Karnataka, of which 1,395 are positive coronovirus cases.
The bulletin said that 149 new cases were reported from 5 pm on Monday from 5 pm on Tuesday.
The total number of coronovirus cases in the state includes 811 patients with active coronovirus cases (six of whom have been admitted to the ICU) and 40 patients who have lost their lives due to COVID-19.
The bulletin also reports the death of a patient who tested positive for COVID-19 but died due to a non-COVID cause. The total number of patients is 543.
According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total COVID-19 cases in the country reached 1, 01,139. In the last 24 hours, 134 people died due to the disease, while the toll was 3,163.
Out of the total confirmed cases, 39,174 have been cured/discharged/migrated so far.
