With 1,993 New Cases, India’s COVID-19 Count Rises To 35,043

Mumbai: The central government said on Friday that a total of 1,993 COVID-19 cases out of 35,043 cases occurred in the country in the last 24 hours.

Lava Agarwal, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, while addressing media persons here said that total cases are involved in 25,007 active cases and 8,888 are cured.

Addressing the media here, Aggarwal said that a total of 564 patients have been cured in the last 24 hours.

He also reiterated that everyone should follow the norms of social discrimination, wear masks and anyone who wears masks should not be seen as someone who is ill but one who understands their responsibility towards society.
