Mumbai: With 53 new COVID-19 positive cases, Mumbai’s Dharavi has reached a total of 1198 cases in the area, While 53 patients till now have succumbed to Coronavirus.
Brihanmubai Municipal Corporation’s official said that no new death has been recorded today in Dadar, Mahin and Dharavi which are major hotspots in the city.

From Monday (11 May 2020) to Saturday (16 May 2020) 309 new cases have been found in Asia’s largest slum Dharavi, taking the count close to the mark of 1200.
Mumbai’s Dharavi alone has more cases than 24 other states and UTs including states like Chattisgarh, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand and Bihar.
