Working Hours Of Maharashtra Women Police Personnel Reduced From 12 To 8

Mumbai: Maharashtra DGP Sanjay Pandey has said the state government has decided to reduce the working hours of women police personnel from 12 to 8.

Earlier this month, Pune Rural Police started eight-hour shifts for women police constables.

“If this initiative proves successful, the eight-hour shift will be extended to male police constables as well,” Pune Rural Police officials had said.
