World Tour Finals: PV Sindhu Loses 2nd Straight Match In Group B vs Intanon
Mumbai: India’s shuttler PV Sindhu lost to Ratchanok Intanon 18-21 13-21 in their second group-stage match in the World Tour Finals on Thursday.
In the first game, the two fought each other hard, leading to a match where the score was 18–18. However, the Thai players rose to the challenge and won the game 21–18.
The second game started in a similar fashion but Inton shifted gears after a while and completely dominated Sindhu to win the game 21-13. The match between the two lasted 43 minutes.
In her first group-stage match, Sindhu was defeated by Tai Tzu-Ying of Taiwan 19-21 21-12 21-17.
Earlier in the day, Kidambi Srikanth held a fighting show, but could not hold the match in his favour as he lost to Wang Tzu-Wei of Taiwan in their second group-stage match at the ongoing BWF World Tour Finals on Thursday.

Wang defeated Srikanth 21-19, 9-21, 19-21 in a match that lasted for 78 minutes.
