‘You’re A Fighter’: PM Modi After UK Counterpart Boris Johnson Tests Positive For COVID-19
Mumbai: Soon after United Kingdom PM Boris Johnson tested positive for coronavirus, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday called his British counterpart a “fighter” and tweeted his “good health and best wishes” to the UK leader.
“Dear PM @BorisJohnson, You’re a fighter and you will overcome this challenge as well. Prayers for your good health and best wishes in ensuring the healthy UK,” Modi tweeted.

Earlier today, Johnson revealed that he was tested positive for the virus after showing mild symptoms of COVID-19.
He tweeted, “Over the last 24 hours I have developed mild symptoms and tested positive for coronavirus. I am now self-isolating, but I will continue to lead the government’s response via video-conference as we fight this virus. Together we will beat this. #StayHomeSaveLives.”
