Zero Box Office Collections: SRK Starrer Makes A Humble Start Of 20 Crores On Opening Day

Pune : After about 16 months, King Khan has landed on the big screen on December 21, with his film Zero. In the recent years, Anand L. Rai, who is called the hit machine of emotional and sensible films, has directed Shahrukh Khan for the first time.

Shahrukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif starrer film Zero have made a collection of 20.14Cr rupees on day one, which was very less than the expectations.

But the second day was even more shocking. The film has got a collection of 38 crores 36 lakhs in two days. Generally small and big budget films do good business on Saturday and Sunday after the opening, but Shahrukh’s “Zero” recorded 9.53% fall on second day.

However, the film witnessed a minor boost on Sunday and earned Rs 20.71 crore. According to early estimates, the film is expected to have made Rs 10 crore approx on Monday, bringing its total collection to Rs 69 crore approx.

The opening collection of Shahrukh Khan’s Zero movie was surprising. Trade Circle was expected to get ₹25 to 28 crores on the first day, talking of which, the movie got featured nearly on 5965 screens in Overseas.
