Mumbai: Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra for Uttar Pradesh (East) on Friday evening helped a two-and-a-half-year-old child suffering from the tumour by airlifting her to AIIMS Delhi.
According to reports, the girl was first admitted to Kamala Nehru Hospital in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Her condition was very serious and doctors thought that he would not be alive.
However, Congress leader Rajiv Shukla, who was campaigning in Prayagraj, requested Priyanka Gandhi to help her to get better treatment in Delhi.
Priyanka quickly took action on the request and sent the girl and her family to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi via a private plane.
