Rajasthan Schools To Begin Opening From Feb 1, Shops Can Operate Till 10 pm

Mumbai: In its new COVID-19 guidelines, Rajasthan on Friday announced that schools for classes 10-12 will reopen from February 1 and for classes 6-9 from February 10.

Students will have the option of online education.

Markets, other business establishments in the state will now remain open till 10 pm, while the Janata curfew has been abolished on Sunday.

Schools were closed at all levels across Rajasthan in view of the COVID pandemic.

As per the guidelines issued by Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Abhay Kumar, students will be allowed to come to the campus for studies only after the written consent of the parent/guardian.

As per the revised guidelines, night curfew will remain in force in the entire state from 11 pm to 5 am every day.

The state made it mandatory for employers and office heads to declare the number of persons in their office who have received both doses of the vaccine after January 31.

It capped the maximum number of guests at 100 for all kinds of gatherings. The new guidelines will be effective from January 31.
