Mumbai: As per media reports earlier, New Education Policy was coming up with new planning which includes making Hindi subject to be compulsory subject till class 8.
But it seems like Union Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar has no interest to make such rule, as he denied the reports of making the Hindi language compulsory in the education tweeted saying “The Committee on New Education Policy in its draft report has not recommended making any language compulsory.”
The Committee on New Education Policy in its draft report has not recommended making any language compulsory. This clarification is necessitated in the wake of mischievous and misleading report in a section of the media.@narendramodi @PMOIndia

Prakash clarifies it as soon as media reports suggested that government is planning to make Hindi subjects to be compulsory in all states which include non-speaking -Hindi states as well.
