‘Chhapaak’ Is Most Special Film Of My Career: Deepika Padukone
Mumbai: Deepika Padukone one of the finest actor in Bollywood, will be seen playing acid attack victim character in her upcoming film ‘Chhapaark’.
While the trailer launch of the film Deepika was seen in tears, narrating her experience she confessed that movie is the most special film of her career.
After watching the trailer, Deepika Padukone said, “Usually, we need to sit through the narration process and decide whether or not you want to do the film, it’s not often when you come across a story, Where immediately within minutes of the meeting the director said that this is what you want to commit to your life … and ‘Chhapak’ has been such a thing. ”
“It has been an incredible journey emotionally. Regardless of how to achieve it and how to do it, it will be the most special film of my career. We made it with a lot of love, with enthusiasm and responsibility,” she added.
The film is based on Laxmi’s real-life acid attack Survivor, who was attacked in 2005 by an alleged lover at the age of 15.
‘Chhapaak’ is being co-produced by Deepika and Fox Star Studios and marks her production debut. This also marks the first collaboration between Deepika and Vikrant Massey. The movie is set to hit theatres on January 10, 2020.
