Madgaon Express’ Earns ₹14.88 Crore Despite Facing Competition

Mumbai: Kunal Khemu’s directorial debut, “Madgaon Express,” produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, garnered positive reviews upon its March 22, 2024 release.

Despite facing competition from “Crew” and “Godzilla vs. Kong” in the second week, the comedy film managed to surpass ₹1 crore on Good Friday. Its second-week earnings totaled ₹14.88 crore, showcasing resilience amidst market challenges.

This comedy flick boasts a star-studded cast including Divyenndu, Pratik Gandhi, Avinash Tiwary, Nora Fatehi, Upendra Limaye, and Chhaya Kadam.

“Madgaon Express” made ₹1.03 crore in its second week of release, increasing its total profits in India to ₹14.88 crore. Even if the competition presented challenges, the movie’s ability to maintain its box office presence is a testament to its popularity with viewers.  

Despite the difficulties presented by the constantly changing film industry, “Madgaon Express” manages to keep audiences entertained with its lighthearted plot and exceptional ensemble cast.
