Akshay Kumar’s ‘Sooryavanshi’ Earns ₹100 Crore Worldwide In 3 Days
Mumbai: Rohit Shetty’s directorial ‘Sooryavanshi’ has earned ₹100 crores worldwide within three days of its release.
The Akshay Kumar-starrer is the fourth movie in Rohit’s cop universe following Ajay Devgn’s ‘Singham’ and ‘Singham Returns’ and Ranveer Singh’s ‘Simmba’.
After a long wait of 19 months, ‘Sooryavanshi’ was released on the big screen on 5 November 2021. The film was earlier scheduled to hit the screens on March 24, 2020, but due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the release was pushed.
‘Sooryavanshi’ has been directed by Reliance Entertainment, Rohit Shetty Picturez, Dharma Productions and Cape Of Good Films, and also features Katrina Kaif in the female lead.
Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh also play an extended cameo role in this cop-drama where they reprised their roles as Singham and Simmba respectively.
Other than Akshay, Katrina, Ajay and Ranveer, ‘Sooryavanshi’ also features Jackie Shroff, Gulshan Grover, Abhimanyu Singh, Niharica Raizada, Vivan Bhatena, Sikandar Kher, Nikitin Dheer and Jaaved Jaaferi in supporting roles.
