Kareena Kapoor’s Genome Sequencing Report For Omicron Is Negative: BMC
Mumbai: Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has released a statement saying that Kareena Kapoor’s genome sequencing report for Omicron is negative.
The actress had recently confirmed on social media that she has tested positive for COVID-19 and had requested anyone who had come in contact with her to get tested.
A report in ANI reads, “Actor Kareena Kapoor Khan’s genome sequencing report for Omicron is negative: Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation”.
The actress shared a note on her social media after testing positive for COVID-19. The note read, “I have tested positive for COVID-19. I immediately isolated myself while following all medical protocols. I request anyone who had come in contact with me to please get tested. My family and staff are also double vaccinated. They are currently not showing any symptoms. Thankfully, I am feeling ok and hope to be up and about soon.”
Other than Kareena Kapoor Khan, her BFF Amrita Arora also tested positive for COVID-19. Both of them attended a house party hosted by Sonam’s sister Rhea Kapoor last week.
Meanwhile, speaking on the professional front, Kareena Kapoor Khan will be next seen featuring opposite Aamir Khan in the upcoming film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. The movie is all set to hit the theatres on April 14, 2022.
