Mumbai: Actress Shilpa Shetty took to Instagram and shared a video on the occasion of Independence Day. Along with the video, she wrote, “Happy Independence Day.
India is celebrating its 75th Independence Day. On August 15, 1947, India got sovereignty from the constrainment of the British frontier power.
On the fifteenth of August, the country’s residents raise banners while singing the public song of devotion and social motorcades happened all around the country. The Prime Minister also hoists the national flag and gives a speech at the Red Fort. It is a custom begun by the primary state leader of India, Jawaharlal Nehru, who raised the public banner over the Lahori Gate of Red Fort in Delhi in 1947.
In the meantime, actress Shilpa Shetty took to her Instagram handle and shared a video wishing the residents and the groups of saints on Independence Day.
