Rhea, Sushant’s Flatmates Siddharth Abetted The Actor’s Extrme Drug Addiction: NCB

Mumbai: The NCB in its draft charge against 35 accused booked in the alleged drugs case filed after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death said they entered a criminal conspiracy for distribution of drugs in Bollywood.

The NCB charge sheet states that Rhea bought narcotics for Sushant Rajput and promoted his “extreme drug addiction”. NCB has registered a case against Rhea along with 35 people including her brother Showik Chakraborty.

The NCB last month filed its draft charge sheet in the special court under Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) and booked 35 people in connection with the actor’s death, however, details emerged on Tuesday.

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), in its draft charge, has said that Sushant Singh Rajput was being administered the drug since 2018.

Rhea, her brother and two employees of the late actor have been accused of allegedly buying banned material for Sushant Rajput. NCB says that the actor was getting the supply of drugs regularly since 2018 with the active support of his close friends.

NCB further claimed that from March 2020 to September 2020, Rhea received multiple ganja deliveries from Samuel Miranda, Showik Charobarti and Dipesh Sawant and handed it over to actor-boyfriend Sushant Rajput and paid for those deliveries.

NCB claims that Sushant’s flatmate Siddharth Pithani also supplied drugs from the actor’s bank account and called it ‘puja material’.

The draft allegations also claim that Rhea’s brother Showik was in regular contact with drug peddlers and had received multiple deliveries from the co-accused.

Rhea Chakraborty has been listed as accused number 10 in the draft report of the NCB. The framing of charges against him by the NCB will only add to his troubles. If found guilty, Rhea Chakraborty could face up to 10 years in prison.

In all her statements, the actress has denied any role in Sushant’s drug addiction & death and called the investigation a witch hunt. Speaking to the press on earlier occasions, she outrightly denied a link with any drug peddler and denied procuring any drugs.
