Mumbai: Vivek Agnihotri-directorial ‘The Kashmir Files‘ has surpassed ₹200-crore earnings in India in 13 days of the film’s release. It has now become the highest-grossing Hindi film post-pandemic, overtaking Sooryavanshi, which had earned ₹196 crores at the box office in India.

The Kashmir Files is based on the 1990 migration of Kashmiri Pandits to erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir. Written and directed by Vivek Agnihotri, the film stars Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar, Pallavi Joshi, Puneet Issar and others.
