The Tragic Truth Told Brilliantly Moves Everyone: Kirron On ‘The Kashmir Files
Mumbai: Actress-turned-politician Kirron Kher, who is the wife of Anupam Kher, lauded the entire team of The Kashmir Files for delivering a fine product.
She appreciated Vivek Agnihotri and his team for the resounding success of the film.
Despite the limited screen release, the film saw phenomenal growth due to its strong mouth-of-the-word promotion. Theatre owners and multiplex chains had to increase the number of shows and screens largely due to public support.
Kirron Kher said that the ‘stark and tragic truth’ was told brilliantly and it moved the audience.

The Kashmir Files, which was released on March 11, has collected Rs 60.20 crore in the first five days.
Despite facing competition from Prabhas and Pooja Hegde-starrer Radhe Shyam, the movie managed to emerge as the sleeper hit of the first quarter of 2022.
The film, which is based on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits in the valley during the insurgency, has been exempted from taxation in eight states including Uttar Pradesh, Goa and Tripura.
