3 JeM Terrorists Killed In Encounter In J&K’s Pulwama Including 1 Pak National

Mumbai: Three JeM terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Chandgam, Pulwama on Wednesday, IGP Kashmir, Vijay Kumar, said.

Security forces surrounded Chandgam village in Pulwama district and launched a search operation which turned into an encounter, a police official said.

He said three terrorists were killed in the exchange of fire with the security forces.

Inspector-General of Police, Kashmir Zone, Vijay Kumar said that those killed belonged to Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and included a Pakistani national.

“Incriminating material, and arms and ammunition, including two M-4 carbines and one AK series rifle, were recovered,” he said, adding that it was a “big success for us”.
