PM Modi Revived Cultural Centres Like Ayodhya’s Ram Temple: Shah

Mumbai: Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that PM Narendra Modi has done the revival work of cultural centers like the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, and Mahakal Corridor, among others.

Amit Shah also felicitated sculptor Arun Yogiraj at the Suttur Jatra Mahotsav program for creating the Rama Lalla idol placed in the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22.

The Home Minister addressed the occasion, saying, “We all witnessed the consecration of Lord Shri Ram’s idol in Ayodhya… Suttur Math has chosen to open a branch in Ayodhya. I applaud Suttur Swami for this…PM Modi has worked to revive cultural hubs such as the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, the Mahakal Corridor, Baba Kedarnath, and Badrinath.”

He stated that Suttur Math has always been a place of selfless service.

“Suttur Math has been the epitome of unselfish service; work is both worship and charity. For centuries, the ‘Math’ has upheld the legacy of service. On behalf of the BJP, I would want to appreciate and salute it,” Shah remarked.  

Yogiraj, the sculptor who created Ram Lalla’s idol, attended the Pran Pratishtha event at Ayodhya on January 22. The Ram Lalla idol was unveiled at the Pran Pratishtha ceremony following the hour-long rites, which were conducted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.  

The event drew approximately 8,000 attendees, including 1,500-1,600 distinguished visitors. The ‘Ram Nagri’ Ayodhya also drew global attention, with earthen lamps or diyas lighted up on a gigantic scale and crackers going off, dazzling the night sky in various sections of the city.  

Visuals also showed celebrations taking place at the famous Saryu Ghat, with happy people professing their devotion to Ram Lalla.
