AAP Leaders Visiting Moosewala’s Parents Discretely: Punjab Congress

Mumbai: The Punjab Congress on Thursday said that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders have started “shedding crocodile tears” for late singer Sidhu Moosewala by paying a “discrete visit” to his parents, away from the public gaze.

A day after the Punjab government cut security, the singer-turned-politician was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Jawaharke village of Punjab’s Mansa district on Sunday.

Moose Wala had received about 25 bullets and gunpowder was also found on his body.

In a tweet, Punjab Congress shared a picture showing AAP leaders meeting Moose Wala’s father.

“Backdoor condolences! After withdrawing his security and exposing him like a sitting duck, @AamAadmiParty leaders have started shedding crocodile tears for #sidhumoosewala ji by paying discrete visit to his parents away from public gaze,” it said in

Meanwhile, in connection with the murder of Moose Wala, the Punjab Police on Monday arrested six people from the Pelican police outpost area of ​​Dehradun.

Punjab Director General of Police VK Bhavra on Wednesday reconstituted a six-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) to expedite the investigation into the Sidhu Moose Wala murder case.

The six-membered investigative team will comprise the Inspector General of Police PAP Jaskaran Singh, Additional Inspector General of Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) Gurmeet Singh Chauhan, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Mansa Gaurav Toora, SP Investigation Mansa Dharamveer Singh, DSP Investigation Bathinda Vishawajeet Singh and Incharge CIA Mansa Prithipal Singh, under the supervision of Additional DGP of Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) Pramod Ban.

Canadian gangster Goldy Brar has claimed responsibility for the murder. Brar is a close associate of gang leader Lawrence Bishnoi, who is said to be involved in the singer’s murder.

After the murder, some gangsters are calling themselves ‘brother’ of Punjabi singer on social media and are talking about taking revenge for his murder.
