Actor Akhil Mishra Passes Away

Mumbai: Actor Akhil Mishra, who is best known for the role of librarian Dubey in the movie ‘3 Idiots’, has passed away. Reportedly, the actor was working in his kitchen and slipped.

“My heart is broken, my second half is gone,” his wife Suzanne Bernert, who was reportedly in Hyderabad at the time of the incident, said.

The actor slipped while working in his kitchen, according to sources in the media. He fell, wounded his head, and was discovered in a bloody puddle.

The actor was taken right away to a hospital. He did, however, pass away shortly after.

Akhil is survived by his German actress wife Suzanne Bernert. When Akhil passed away, she was in Hyderabad.

According to a story in Indian Express, the actor has been ill for a while because of problems with his blood pressure.

Cine & TV Artistes’ Association (CINTAA) expressed its condolence on the demise of Akhil Mishra on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Akhil has also been a part of several popular television shows like Uttaran, Udaan, CID, Shrimaan Shrimati, Hatim and others. Over the years, Akhil also appeared in films like Don, Gandhi, My Father, Shikhar, Kamla Ki Maut, Well Done Abba.
