Mumbai: Actress Nayanthara and director Vignesh Shivan got married on Thursday in Mahabalipuram. The couple shared the first photo from their wedding ceremony.
Vignesh announced their wedding date on Tuesday. The couple reportedly got married in an intimate ceremony surrounded by family and close friends. Actors Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, Suriya and Vijay, and filmmakers Mani Ratnam and Atlee, attended the wedding at Sheraton Grand, Mahabalipuram.
Actors Rajinikanth and Shah Rukh Khan, who will be seen opposite Nayanthara in their new film Jawan, attended a wedding in Chennai on Thursday. The wedding was attended by high-profile guests like Suriya, Vijay, Mani Ratnam and many more.
While Vignesh tweeted their wedding picture, Nayanthara shared a picture of the couple from their wedding ceremony on Instagram.
The director captioned his and Nayanthara’s photo from their wedding, “On a scale of 10… She’s Nayan & am the One. With God’s grace, the universe, all the blessings of our parents & best of friends. Jus married #Nayanthara.”
