Akshay Kumar Starrer Housefull-4 Box Office Collection Day 1
Mumbai: After back to back hits Akshay Kumar treated his fans with Housefull-4, which faced a clash with Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar’s Saand Ki Aankh and Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy’s Made In China.
Despite such big clashes ensemble cast starrer Housefull-4 has bagged Rs 19.08 crore at the box office on day one itself. Friday’s holiday for Dhanteras has proven to be advantageous for Housefull 4. The film also stars Bobby Deol, Ritesh Deshmukh, Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda, Pooja Hegde and Chunky Panday in important roles.
The Akshay Kumar-starrer is expected to perform exceptionally well over the weekend, too, given the Diwali holiday.
Housefull 4 is a comedy about rebirth. Each actor in the film plays a dual role – one based on the current time of 2019, while the other lies in 1419, 600 years ago. It seems the audience is lapping this comedy up. And going by the momentum it’s created, we wouldn’t be surprised if Housefull 4 hits the Rs 50-crore mark over the weekend itself.
