Allu Arjun Tests Positive For Coronavirus, Says ‘Don’t Worry About Me, I’m Doing Fine’

Mumbai: Actor Allu Arjun announced in an Instagram post on Wednesday, the South star has tested positive for COVID-19.

Allu Arjun shared a statement, in which he wrote that he is “following all protocols” and “isolating himself” at his home, where he lives with his wife and two children. The actor requested his fans not to worry about him and got himself vaccinated.

“Hello everyone, I have tested positive for covid. I have isolated myself at home and have been following all the protocols,” the actor wrote in his post and added: “I request those who have come in contact with me to get tested. Stay home, stay safe and get vaccinated when you get the chance.”

“I request all my well-wishers and fans not to worry about me as I am doing fine.”

Allu Arjun’s next release is Pushpa which is released on 13 August.

Recently, Pushpa’s first look was launched. The introduction provides continuity in Pushpa’s world, a tireless man who will do nothing to defeat the odds. Allu for the film signals a change in Arjun’s character, a jungle scene in Andhra Pradesh and music by Devi Sri Prasad.

The film is directed by Sukumar, with sound by Oscar-winner Resul Pookutty.
