Amitabh Bachchan Mocks ICC Over ‘Boundary Rule’ After England World Cup Win

Mumbai: After an electrifying ICC World Cup final between England and New Zealand many of them have criticised ICC for their “boundary rule”.

On Sunday, two dramatic run-outs in the final over of England’s innings took the game into a Super Over with the scores tied on 241 after the end of 50 overs against New Zealand at Lord’s.

In Super over both the team scored 15 runs each after hitting 241 runs apiece in their respective over. But England was declared as winner as they hot 24 boundaries whereas New Zeland manages to hit only 17 boundaries.

Meanwhile, Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan joined the party over ICC rule mockingly said in Hindi that, “You have Rs 2,000, I have Rs 2,000. You have one note of 2,000; I have four notes of 500. Who is richer? ICC: The one who has four notes of 500 is richer.”

Earlier, many former cricketers like Gautam Gambhir, Rohit Sharma, Brett Lee, Yuvraj Singh and others criticised the ICC for the boundary rule.
