Anushka Sharma Urges Fans Not Abandon Their Pets Amid Coronavirus Concerns

Mumbai: Following the Coronavirus pandemic, Bollywood star Anushka Sharma showed her concern over pet as they are under threats with rumours of the virus spreading among animals.

Showing her concern posted a note in her Instagram story which states, “It’s a humble request for all pet parents to not abandon their pets during these times of crisis. Please instead, take care of them and keep them safe with you. It’s inhuman to abandon them.”

Anushka has been a strong animal rights activist and has constantly spoken up against cruelty to animals and several other atrocities faced by animals.

On the work front, Sharma will next produce three projects for streaming television: an as-yet-untitled cop drama series for Amazon Video, and two projects for Netflix, a period drama film entitled Bulbul, and a drama series named Mai about a middle-aged housewife fighting crime.
