I Salute Our Farmers For Their Sacrifice: Kejriwal After PM’s Farm Laws Announcement

AAP spokesperson Sanjay Singh slammed Modi Government for making decisions ahead of assembly elections 

Mumbai: Aam Admi Party president and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said the “martyrdom” of “over 700 farmers” who died during the protests against centres 3 farm law will always be remembered.

Prime Minister Modi choose Guru Nanak Jayanti, the birth anniversary of the first guru of Sikhism, also known as Prakash Diwas, to make the announcement that the three contentious farm laws will be withdrawn. Also Read: PM Narendra Modi Withdraws Three Farm Laws, Apologises To The Nation

“What great news was received today on Prakash Diwas. All three laws were repealed. More than 700 farmers were martyred. This martyrdom will be immortal. The coming generations will remember how the farmers of this country put their lives on the line to save farming and farmers. I salute the farmers of my country,” Kejriwal tweeted.

Meanwhile, Sanjay Singh the national spokesperson for the Aam Aadmi Party has slammed the Modi government for making the decision in fear of defeat in the assembly elections next year. Also Read: Farmers’ Satyagraha Made Arrogance Bow Its Head: Rahul On Repeal Of Farm Laws

Lauding the victory of farmers, Sanjay Singh further accused PM Modi of insulting the farmers by calling them terrorists and subjecting them to severe atrocities.

“This is the victory of the farmers’ protest on the injustice of Modi. Many congratulations. India’s Annadata farmers were subjected to severe atrocities for a year. Hundreds of farmers were martyred. He insulted the Annadata by calling them, terrorists. Why did Modiji remain silent on this? The country is understanding that the three black laws were withdrawn due to the fear of defeat in the elections.”

Uttar Pradesh along with Goa, Manipur, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat go for assembly elections next year.
