Aug 5 To Be Celebrated As ‘Freedom From Corruption’ Day Every Year In J&K: Sinha

Mumbai: J&K LG Manoj Sinha said the administration has decided that August 5 will be celebrated as “Freedom from Corruption” day every year.

While addressing the media on Monday, the J&K L-G commended the outcome of the Har Ghar Tiranga crusade, adding that exceptionally fewer endeavours must be made to persuade individuals to raise the Tricolor as everybody needed to do likewise.

“There was a massive response and participation from all segments of society for raising the Tiranga wherever across the valley. Additionally, faculty of the Indian Army, Border Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force, and Jammu and Kashmir Police partook effectively in the mission,” L-G Sinha said.

Calling the Prime Minister’s mission the world’s greatest ‘Jan Abhiyan’, he said that all aspects of the nation including Jammu and Kashmir saw the Har Ghar Tiranga development.

Alluding to the repeal of Article 370 in J&K, L-G Sinha said that PM Modi had lit a light on present-day monetary and social improvement quite a while back and added that the J&K organization has accomplished outstanding achievements in the previous years.
