Big B Unveils Singer-Performer-Composer Avi’s ‘Main Hua Tera’

Mumbai : He is young. He is suave. He is talented. And what is more, he has musical genes! Avitesh Shrivastava aka Avi, son of legendary composer Aadesh Shrivastava and actor Vijayta Pandit, is all set to take the global music scene by storm as singer-composer-performer with his debut single, ‘Main Hua Tera’. 

Besides Mr.Amitabh Bachchan, seen at the do were Jeetendra, Poonam Dhillon, Shaan, Alka Yagnik, Jatin Pandit,Lalit Pandit, Vaishali Samant, Dr.Aneel Kashi Murarka of Ample Miission, Vastu and Numerologist Basannt R Rasiwasia, Shayan Italia, Dr.Farhad Vijay Arora, Mukesh Rishi, Raghav Rishi, Suchitra Krishnamoorthy, Toshi, Mukhesh Makwana, Naresh Makwana and Himanshu Mehta of Dhoop Chaon & Co., Ramesh Taurani, among others.

The song, made in collaboration with two-time Grammy award winner Giorgio Tuinfort, with video directed by Remo D’Souza, was launched by Superstar Amitabh Bachchan at Courtyard by Marriott, Andheri, in the presence of the music fraternity that rallied by the talented young man.

A student of the Hollywood Academy in Los Angeles, Avi honed his skills, having assisted Shoojit Sircar in ‘Piku’ and Vishal Bhardwaj in ‘Rangoon’. He has not just composed the title track for Amitabh Bachchan’s song ‘Aaj Ki Raat Hai’ from Zindagi, but has also performed alongside Akon and Aadesh Shrivastava in ‘One For The World’ from the album ‘Global Sounds of Peace’, besides performances with Wyclef Jean and Sean Kingston.

“It was a proud moment for me. My father had been waiting for this day”, said an emotional Avitesh whose chocolate boy looks have brought him many film offers. “We are still considering them. I am seeking the right break for my film as actor, hence taking my time.”
