Box Office Collection: Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files Sees Huge Jump, Earns ₹27 Crore On First Weekend

Mumbai: Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files saw a tremendous jump at the box office on its third day. The film has collected a total of ₹27.15 crores in three days. A major contributor to the box office numbers was from Mumbai, Delhi NCR and East Punjab.

The Kashmir Files was released on March 11 and starred actors Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Darshan Kumar and Pallavi Joshi.

The Kashmir Files earned ₹3.55 crore on its opening day on March 11, the film earned ₹8.50 crore on Saturday and Sunday, which saw an extraordinary jump of Rs. 15.10 crores. Movie business analyst Taran Adarsh ​​also shared the figures on Twitter.

The film features the story of the Kashmiri Pandits’ exodus from the Kashmir Valley in the late 80s and early 90s.
