Chandan Roy Sanyal Nominated For Best Actor At 19th Annual New York Indian Film Festival

Mumbai: Critically acclaimed actor Chandan Roy Sanyal who has given some amazing performances in the past is all set to add one more feather to his hat. The actor has been nominated in the category of Best Actor for the film The Flight at 19th Annual New York Indian Film Festival this year.

Sharing his excitement for the nomination Chandan Roy Sanyal shares,” I am extremely happy that 19th Annual New York Indian Film Festival has nominated me. The nomination itself means a lot. The FIight is a great film and the response the film is getting is overwhelming. Working on this film was an amazing experience. I hope this film reaches out to more people”

Chandan has been a part of many path-breaking roles be it Sanjay Gupta’s Jazbaa or essaying the role of a very dear friend of Manto in the film “Manto”. His earlier filmography includes films like ‘Rang De Basanti’, ‘Kaminey’, ‘F. A. L. T. U’,‘D-Day’, Jab Harry Met Sejal and Chef to name a few. He was also a part of the film Island City which went to Venice Film Festival. He will be next seen in the film Jabariya Jodi along with Siddharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra.
