Comedian Sugandha Mishra Booked For Violating COVID-19 Rules At Her Wedding

Mumbai: Comedian Sugandha Mishra was booked for allegedly flouting coronavirus norms during her wedding with Sanket Bhosale at a resort in Punjab’s Phagwara last week, police said

Police officials have also booked Saket Bhosle’s family members, hotel staff, in a case of coronavirus violation.

The case was registered on Wednesday against her, the bridegroom’s side, the resort’s owner and participants of the marriage after a video showing a large gathering of people at the wedding went viral.

Sugandha and Sanket got married in an intimate ceremony on 26 April in Jalandhar in the presence of their loved ones. The two decided to get engaged and got married on the same day.

Mishra, while talking to SpotBoyE, had said that she would invite only selected guests to her wedding due to the COVID-19 crisis.
