Meanwhile, in her recent interview which she posted on her Instagram account, Nora stated that dancers should also get equal respect and valued by everyone, as they go through so much during their dancing performance.

She said that “Currently, I am shooting for ‘Street Dancer‘ with professional dancers. Dancers, who have sacrificed so many things in life to become professional dancers and one day I just had an epiphany that why don’t we celebrate dancers the way we celebrate actors? Do you know what dancers go through? The way they push themselves to do certain moves which are almost humanly impossible. We had these ballerinas on the sets, who were doing ballerina dance style, while simultaneously doing hip-hop style dance with their upper torso – I was amazed.”

“It must have taken them years to balance like that, half of us can’t balance while we are walking. Dancing is not easy, and there is a lot of blood, sweat, tears, a lot of the sacrifices their homes to become what they are,” she said.

She went on saying that what every dancer go through a lot and they should be appreciated for their work. “Break dancing is not easy you can enjoy break you’re spinal and never walk again. Hip-hop dancing requires a lot of raw emotions, being able to catch that movement and to be physically flexible to do certain things. Contemporary dancing that another thing, needs to be in touch with your emotions. There are so many factors to be a dancer, we don’t really like celebrated.”

“But when an actor does a good scene in a movie, everyone wants to die like- ‘OMG he is such an amazing actor.’ Yes, we should respect the actors, but what about the dancers? They should be equally respected and valued. But to Dancers, they say ‘they are just a dancers’ they are just a dancer? Ahhh! You know what it takes to reach that level. And Dancers can take you to another world without even speaking and I feel it’s a shame that it’s not even celebrated like that. It’s time to celebrate them.”

She is such a passionate girl, Nora really at that point. Actually, every art form needs equally respected and valued. Everyone should need to know this and locked in their brains. As Nora said they go through so much we can’t even imagine and still not appreciated? Dancers are really a gem, Kudos! to Nora Fatehi.
