Domestic LPG Cylinder Rate Increased By ₹50 From Today

Mumbai: The price of a 14.2-kg domestic LPG cylinder has been increased by ₹50 with effect from Wednesday, July 6. A domestic LPG cylinder will now cost ₹1,053 in Delhi and ₹1,052.50 in Mumbai.

In Chennai, customers will now have to pay Rs 1068.50 to buy a 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder.

On the other hand, the price of such a cylinder in Kolkata has increased to Rs 1,079 from the previous price of Rs 1,029.

The price of the domestic cylinders in Bangalore has gone up to Rs 1055.5. With Wednesday’s hike, customers in Jammu and Kashmir’s Srinagar will have to pay Rs 1,169 for a cylinder. In Shimla, this price is around ₹ 1,100.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, the price of a 5 kg domestic cylinder was also increased by Rs 18 per cylinder. But the price of a 19 kg commercial cylinder has come down by Rs 8.50.

On July 1, the price of commercial cooking gas was reduced by Rs 198 per 19 kg cylinder in line with international rates. In June, this price was cut by ₹135.
