Kapil Sharma To Give Voiceover To “Red” The Character In Hindi Version Of Angry Bird 2

Mumbai: The makers of the animated film, Angry birds, are coming up with a sequel. Like other Hollywood movies, this too will be dubbed in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu for its release in India Kapil Sharma, the famous Indian comedian, has been roped into voiceover for the character ‘Red’ in the Hindi version film.

Actor Jason Sudeikis has been voicing the character in the original version and Kapil is nervous about matching his pitch and tone.

Kapil Sharma confesses that he relates to the role of Red very much. “He is the hero but, at times, he gets entangled in tough situations. Knowing my history, you’d agree that I am Red,” he chuckled.

Kapil goes on to say that his character is funny like him. The producers have asked him to up the comic timing of the character and he says he has. He adds that the character is situationally funny, sometimes his anger will make people laugh.

On the personal front, he got married last year in December to Ginni Chatrath, and now they are expecting their first child. “I just want to take care of my wife and be by her side for now. We are obviously very excited as it’s our first but my mother is the most excited. We are just praying for Ginni and the baby’s health,” Kapil shared.
