“Khhyati Ravi” Is Sending Strong & Impactful Messages All The Way From Australia

Take a look at the poetic creations of ‘Khhyati Ravi’, a poetess from Melbourne who is killing it on stage with her own unique way of angry feminism through her open-mic performances in Australia. Her poetry combines emotions and weaves them in a perfectly rhythmic fashion through words. Her finely woven words bring the unspoken feelings into life and yes when she steps on stage and hold that mic in hand, the words eventually start to talk, they can even do the laughing, can cry, and scream loud and clear.

Her distinctly 21st Century content of the new poetry aligns with poetic but angry feminism of young women demanding to be heard is coming through loud and clear; so is the outspokenness about patriarchy, relationships, women issues, mental health, sexual abuse and dominating society.

Khhyati has curated a collection of feminist poetry and poetry on life experiences with which people can relate to. One of her poetry “Housewives” questions the two-facedness and hypocrisy of people towards the housewives, the other poetry “Edit Zindagi” tells that life is not perfect, it gets teared up, confused, and colourless at times. Haters will try their best to spoil the beautiful colours of your life, but one should never stop evolving and continue to refill the colours in their life. Then she has poetry “Beti Nahi Mein Maati Hun” where she features a few words with deep insight into a woman’s soul and scream out that she is outgrowing the creaky and corrupt system of social preaching that has been controlling her throughout the ages.

Her recent poetry “Gentlemen – Farq Padta Hai” dictates that a person’s character or gentleness is not judged by his status, education, clothes, or money but by his deeds which are welcomed by the audience not only offline but online too. Poetry written by her a few months back named “Greh Lakshmi” has pointed out a sensitive issue of post-marital depression. This poetry is related to the level of oppression and lack of autonomy that women feel within a marital situation. The poetry is full of sarcasm which was necessary to convey the message to the people whose conscience is dead. She then smashed the judgemental society with her most liked poetry “Kavita Nahi Kahaani Hun Mein” which she dedicated to all the single mothers.

For Khhyati, poetry is all about expressing feelings in words and her poems feature a few words with deep insight into how people exactly feel and experience certain situations.

If you would like to unlock your blocked feelings that you once thought cannot be told to the world, then join this fearless poetess Khhyati on social media.

Because of the internet she self-publishes her work and has the audience decide if they like it or not on her YouTube channel, on her Facebook page, and on Instagram.
