LPG Cylinder For Commercial Use Becomes Cheaper By ₹102.50 From Today

Mumbai: The price of commercial LPG cylinders have been slashed by ₹102.50 with effect from today. A 19-kg commercial cylinder will now cost ₹1,998.50 in Delhi, ₹1,948.5 in Mumbai, ₹2,076 in Kolkata and ₹2,131 in Chennai

This will provide some relief to restaurants, eateries and tea shops etc., which are the largest user segment of the 19 kg cylinder.

Last month, on December 1, the price of a 19 kg LPG cylinder was increased by Rs 100, taking the price of a 19 kg commercial cylinders to Rs 2,101 in Delhi which was the second-highest price of 19 kg commercial cylinder after 2012-13 when it cost around Rs 2,200 per cylinder

However, the prices of other domestic cylinders weighing 14.2 kg, 5 kg, 10 kg composite or 5 kg composite cylinders remained unchanged and their prices remained unchanged.

Earlier on November 1, a 19 kg commercial cylinder saw a price hike of Rs 266, taking the prices to Rs 2,000.50.

After the new rate cut, a 19 kg cylinder will cost Rs 1,998.50 as against Rs 2,101 in Delhi. LPG cylinder rates are revised monthly for all states and union territories in India.

Earlier on October 1, the price of 19 kg cylinder was reduced by Rs 43 and on October 6, the price of 19 kg commercial cylinder was reduced by Rs 2.50. On September 1, the price of a 19 kg cylinder was increased by Rs 75.
