My Windows May Fly Off, It’s Scary: Shruti Haasan On Cyclone Tauktae

Mumbai: In a video shared on Instagram by actress Shruti Haasan, she expressed her displeasure as heavy rains and strong winds hit Mumbai due to the cyclonic storm that occurred on Monday. She also thanked that she did not have to experience all this alone.

“The storm is never-ending. My windows may fly off. It’s very scary. Thank God this didn’t happen the last lockdown when I was alone,” Shruti said. In other videos, she showed her windows rattling due to the gusty winds and the heavy rains.

The cyclone blows Mumbai at a speed of 114 kmph, causing flight operations and flooding in many parts of the city.

On the work front, Haasan has signed on to appear in a cameo role in the Pawan Kalyan starrer Vakeel Saab which is slated to release in April 2021. She is also shooting for the Tamil film Laabam alongside Vijay Sethupathi and the action thriller Salaar opposite Prabhas and will be seen in the Netflix original Pitta Kathalu in Nag Ashwin’s segment titled Xlife.

Her most recent release was the Telugu courtroom drama, Vakeel Saab. The last Hindi film she was seen in was The Power, opposite Vidyut Jammwal, which got a direct-to-digital release on Zee5.
