People Of PoK Look To India Questioning When Will They Get Freedom: RSS Leader

Mumbai: RSS leader Dattatreya Hosabale said that the people of Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir look towards India questioning when will they get freedom.

The remarks were made during a commemorative event for Kargil Vijay Divas in Jammu and Kashmir. Hosabale also said that parts of the union territory continued to be under illegal occupation by Pakistan since the attack in 1947.

“The people of Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir were the victims earlier. They should get full justice. They feel pity for themselves today. They are looking toward India that when will they get freedom… Pakistan has lost its position in Jammu and Kashmir. The situation has been lost and has cast an evil eye. Since independence. Pakistan is spreading terrorism and separatism to destabilize the country since 1947.”

Hosabale, second only to RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, said that large parts of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are under illegal occupation of Pakistan. He also praised the Indian Army for freeing the then princely state from the clutches of Pakistan in 1947.

“Pakistan killed 20,000-25,000 people in Mirpur city alone… similar atrocities were perpetrated in other parts. There is hardly a family which did not lose a member (during the attack). Despite facing such misfortune, they have contributed to building this nation. While living in Jammu and Kashmir, they have become partners in nation building,” the RSS leader said.

He lauded the security forces and local people for foiling Pakistan’s terror attempts.
