PM Modi Cautions Youth On Drug Addiction, Says Society Needs To Fight The Menace

Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday cautioned the youth against drugs and said it destroys the lives of youth and society needs to fight it.

Addressing the National Cadet Corps rally at Cariappa Ground in the national capital today, the Prime Minister said, “We all need to connect with India’s roots. We can change India’s future with your (NCC) determination and support. Drug addiction destroys the life of youngsters, we need to fight against this.”

“You know very well how much drug addiction destroys our young generation. In schools and colleges where there is NCC-NSS, drug addiction cannot reach there. As a cadet, you yourself should be drug free, along with Making our campus drug free.”
