Rakul Preet Singh Joins John Abhram And Jacqueline Fernandez In Attack

Mumbai: John Abhram announced earlier this year, that he will star in Lakshya Raj Anand’s film ‘Attack’. After Jacqueline Fernandez, John Abhram Lakshya Anand has now roped in Rakul Preet Singh as another female lead for the action thriller.

Source tells us, “It’s a two-heroine project. Both the roles are really powerful and action-oriented. The team was scouting for two good looking actors who can also perform and do stunts really well. It’s then that they took the film to Rakul Preet Singh. She was their first choice for the role. She loved the script and her role in it. The final modalities are being worked out. Post that, the team will make an official announcement of the same soon. It goes on the floors in January next year.”

Meanwhile, Rakul is seen in De De Pyaar De and Marjaavaan and that working well for her. She’s currently shooting for Nikkhil’s next production venture that also stars Arjun Kapoor.

On the other hand, John Abhram has Pagalpanti lined up, followed by Sanjay Gupta’s Mumbai Saga which is already on the floors. Then, he has Lakshya Raj Anand’s Attack and Milap Zaveri’s Satyameva Jayate 2. Not just that, he has also announced another film, that will be directed by Nikkhil Advani. In fact, he also wants to produce a bike racing film with producer Bhushan Kumar.
