Rubina Dilaik’s Debut Film ‘Ardh’ Starring Hiten Tejwani Begins Shoot
Mumbai: Television actress Rubina Dilaik, who will make her film debut with the movie ‘Ardh’, took to social media and announced the shooting for her upcoming film has started.
Rubina shared the first poster of the film and in the caption wrote, “New beginnings”.

In the poster, Rubina is seen wearing a sari with Gajra in her hair. Looking at her pose with her hands on her waist, it can be guessed that she is either playing the role of a transgender in her TV show Shakti or a sex worker. The woman stands tall facing the maximum city as Mumbai’s famous spots — Gateway of India, Hotel Taj, Central railway station, Siddhivinayak temple and the marine drive — are seen in the poster.
Ardh is the directorial debut of composer Palash Muchhal. He has also written the script. According to reports, Rajpal Yadav will be seen playing the role of a transgender in the film who comes to Mumbai to become a hero. While Rubina’s character becomes her support in the new city, Hiten will play the role of her best friend.
Ardh is being targeted for an OTT release in early 2022.
