Satyendar Jain Is Patriot, Should Be Given Padma Vibhushan: Kejriwal
Mumbai: Delhi CM and AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal said Delhi minister Satyendar Jain is a patriot and he should be given “Padma Vibhushan”.
The country should be proud of him, the Delhi CM said, adding that people from all over the world have come to see it.
“He should be given Padma Vibhushan. Everyone should interrogate him, CBI has already acquitted him, ED will also do it.”
“We have a very strict and honest government. We are staunch patriots, who can behead but can never betray the country. His arrest is politically motivated.”
Meanwhile, a local court in Delhi sent Delhi Health and Home Minister Satyendar Jain to Enforcement Directorate (ED) custody till June 9 in an alleged money laundering case.
The ED had on Monday arrested Satyendar Jain from his residence in connection with an alleged hawala transaction with a Kolkata-based company.
The Rouse Avenue Court remanded Jain to ED custody till June 9.
