Situation Highly Uncertain, Remain Safe Wherever You Are: India To Nationals In Ukraine
Mumbai: The Indian Embassy in Ukraine has issued an advisory to all Indian nationals in Ukraine, saying that the situation in the country is highly uncertain.
The Indian embassy warned that “citizens travelling to Kyiv, including those travelling from the western parts of Kyiv, are temporarily advised to return to their respective cities temporarily, especially towards safer places along with the western bordering countries.”

Airstrike sirens sound in the morning air in other parts of Ukraine such as Odesa, Kharkiv, Kramatorsk and Mariupol.
“The current situation in Ukraine is extremely uncertain. Please remain calm and be safe, whether you are in your homes, hostels, residences or in transit,” the Indian embassy said.
An Air India plane had to land in Kyiv this morning to help bring back the Indians. Flights into Ukraine were cancelled as the country closed its airspace to commercial aircraft.
