Sushant’s Ex-Manager Disha’s Parents Urge Prez To Take Action Against Narayan Rane, Son

The father-son duo had reportedly made derogatory remarks against the late Disha Salian

Mumbai: Parents of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s ex-manager Disha Salian urged President Ram Nath Kovind to take action against Union Minister Narayan Rane and his son Nitesh for maligning their late daughter.

“Our lives have become chaotic and pathetic because of the death of our daughter and then this open lie spread by Rane and others. Even after the crime was registered, Union Minister Rane and his son have not stopped maligning our name. It seems we will not get justice till we are alive as their right to spread falsehood is more important than our fundamental right to life, right to privacy and live with dignity,” said Vasanti Salian and Satish Salian, the parents of Disha.

Disha’s parents urged, “Therefore, we request you to issue directions to the authorities concerned to take appropriate steps so that justice can be done, otherwise we will be left with no other option but to end our lives.”

Significantly, in the case of Disha Salian’s death, Union Minister Narayan Rane and Maharashtra BJP MLA Nitesh Rane had appeared before the Mumbai Police on March 6.

The father-son duo had reportedly made derogatory remarks against the late Disha Salian.

A case was registered against Narayan Rane and Nitesh Rane on February 27 for allegedly spreading false information about Salian’s death.

Salian’s mother had registered a case under sections 500, 509 of the IPC and section 67 of the Information Technology Act. In the FIR copy, Disha’s mother alleged that these politicians defame her daughter while making statements about late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

Salian died on June 8, 2020, days after actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his residence in Mumbai on June 14.
